HOME STAGING
How can we help prepare your home for market?
As Certified Home Stagers, we use specific tools and techniques to prepare homes so they sell both quickly and for top dollar. We partner with homeowners and realtors to create a plan to enhance just a few rooms or all rooms, depending on budget.
on site or virtual walk-and-talk consultations
We offer on-site or virtual two-hour Walk-and-Talk Consultations with a Certified Home Stager followed by a detailed report. During the walk thru with the homeowners, we will take vivid notes highlighting all the necessary home preparations, repairs, and recommended cosmetic enhancements. We will also provide suggestions for paint colors, artwork, accessories, and any other enhancements to accentuate the positives of the home while removing potential buyer objections. The homeowner will receive a list of recommendations in a detailed report.
occupied styling for real-estate photo shoots.
We specialize in helping people make their homes organized and beautiful places to live while preparing to be market-ready. Occupied styling serves the homeowner’s need to reside in their home during the process of selling. We’ll “repurpose” as many existing items as possible while recommending accessories and décor that will refresh your rooms. The goal is to give your home that “model home” look and “move-in ready” feel as cost- and time- efficiently as possible. After completing the Walk-and-Talk Consult (depending on the goals and needs of each home) the homeowner may choose for us to return to style the home in preparation for photos and market listing. Next, we’ll review the staging report with the homeowner and provide a “priority checklist” of the essential steps to take prior to styling the home which may include relocating large furniture pieces, rugs and other larger and key items throughout the home. Upon arrival, we’ll “repurpose” as much as possible of what you already own of the existing furniture and accessories. This may mean we keep a lot of your things or very few. The goal is to transform the home in a way that appeals to the most buyers. This step might entail removal and storage of furniture, accessories, rug, and art. It will mean styling of the beds, kitchen counters, and other main areas of the home. We are trained to look at each space with a critical eye for balance, flow, color, and optimal light; the goal is to bring forward the positive features of your home while removing any potential buyer negatives. The homeowner may receive a shoppable list for items such as pillows, bedding, towels, and small accessories which will be used to refresh their spaces and which the homeowner can then take and utilize in their new home. They can shop themselves or hire us to shop for those items and stage them if that’s what they prefer.
